Pop up Garden Case Study

BRIEF

Our client asked us to come up with a few ideas to transform the reception area of their office an eye catching display, which would generate interest in the launch of the latest Microsoft surface tablet. The area was to double up as a meeting area and also a comfortable environment for staff to trial the new tablet.

The brief was shared amongst our creative team who came up with many ideas, one of which was a pop up park. After running our idea passed the client we were given the go ahead to start production.

PRODUCTION

To create a pop up park in a relatively small space posed a few challenges. We needed to ensure the area did not look cluttered and provided an interesting environment which incorporated Microsoft + Westcoast branding.

To ensure our client was happy with our ideas our KPM creative team produced a detailed floor plan and a 3D render of the final design.

With only two weeks to produce and install the garden the team went straight to work. We managed to complete the project and install in time for the product launch.

“The Pop up garden for our reception area is a massive talking point in the office. Originally an idea around a product launch to grab internal staff attention, the Pop up garden has now become a meeting space where people go to catch up and sit with customers and vendors. This area is the first thing our customers see when they arrive at Westcoast, not one person has walked past without mentioning it! It’s not only achieved the product awareness objective set but also turned a dull, drab area into a place where people want to be!”
